CySEC Regulated Binary Options Broker “Banc de Binary”
Learn more here: Is Banc de Binary Regulated?
The CySEC regulated broker Banc de Binary is seeking ASIC regulation, the brokerage is already regulated by European CySEC but has received several warnings from The Australian watchdog ASIC and recently also from the New Zealand watchdog FMA. This information has been provided by an anonymous Banc de Binary source. This comes after multiple warnings from the Australian and New Zealand watchdog, against trading with Banc de Binary. Both have announced in the recent past that Banc de Binary is an unauthorized service provider and that it does not recommend traders in Australia trade binary options with the unauthorized dealer. Both watchdogs have posted an official warning on their website. For this reason exactly, Banc de Binary is now seeking ASIC regulation in order to hopefully become an Australian regulated binary options broker, Banc de Binary has been regulated by CySEC and is an Authorized service provider in Europe in accordance with MiFID.
FinanceMagnates.com has reported this year that Banc de Binary recently agreed to pay a fine of $11,000,000 to settle with the USA regulators CFTC & SEC over allegations of illegally soliciting their services and products to Americans. Banc de Binary has also agreed to pay a fine of €350,000 to the the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), their current regulator, due to “possible violations”.
If Banc de Binary finds its way into Authorized Australian territory it will be the first broker in the binaries sector to receive both CySEC and ASIC authorization and regulation. If Banc de Binary receives ASIC authorization it will be able to legally solicit services and products to Australians and will have to abide to ASIC regulation and fines for any violations. It seems that Banc de Binary is clearing its way to stay, as it has been always, the oldest and most world-known regulated binary options broker in the world today.
Australia – Then USA?
We here at BinaryOptionsRegulations.net have a feeling that this is the first move in a plan to become regulated not only in Australia but in the whole western world including the USA and maybe even China. Banc de Binary has surprised and surpassed all expectations again and again by keeping to its reputation as a trusted and regulated broker and by agreeing to pay large fines in order to settle “possible violation” and “illegal soliciting” charges in the past.
Banc de Binary has been included in the crackdown of hundreds of brokers by multiple regulative bodies and entities and has received warnings and fines, even by its own regulator CySEC, but no regulator has ever officially branded them as a scam or as fraud. They continue to seek regulation even outside of the CySEC regulated borders. We have a good feeling about Banc de Binary and have high hopes and expectations in regards to their seeking ASIC regulation.
